Founded in Pennsylvania, American Trench is known for its commitment to American manufacturing and modern utility — pieces built with purpose and designed to last. For our collaboration, we set out to rework their hit varsity jacket into something refined and easy to wear every day.

We stripped the jacket down — removing the traditional stripes and contrast details — to create a clean, monochromatic version designed to outlast trends and adapt to any wardrobe. A custom neck label, inspired by 1950s apparel tags, was developed exclusively for the collaboration — a subtle nod to vintage craftsmanship that gave the piece its own distinct identity. The result: a rich espresso wool body with cowhide sleeves, antiqued brass snaps, and subtle tonal accents that make it versatile and timeless.

Each piece was made at the Settlemeir factory in Portland, Oregon, using domestic and imported materials. The limited release quickly became a favorite for its quiet confidence — an American-made staple built to stand the test of time.
